Integrated team

We establish an integrated, collaborative team early in the project life cycle – homeowner, architect/designer, builder, project manager, and interior designer. We walk with you, through every step, from initial idea to completed home. The goal is the develop a project that meets your goals and aligns with your budget.


Cloud-based team room

To keep track of information, discussions, and decisions, we use a sophisticated cloud-based program. You have 24/7 access from your computer, phone, or tablet to detailed construction specifications, shop drawings, selections, cut sheets, and schedule.  Learn more.   


Discovery and planning

We assess the project from every angle – budget goals, site conditions, utilities, building envelope, mechanical systems. Developing a plan is an iterative process with constant collaboration and communication between you and your hand-picked team members. Other trusted professionals join the team as needed, such as surveyor, engineer, interior designer, rainwater collection expert, septic engineer, and solar energy expert.


Designing the home

The architectural designer designs a home to fit your desired functions and ideas. At a certain point, Solluna stops and calculates a rough estimate of construction cost to make sure the design aligns with your budget. We will make adjustments as necessary. The process is set up to provide information you need to prioritize goals and get the best value for your investment.


Developing the specifications

The Solluna team fleshes out details about materials, products, and finishes using our comprehensive specifications and estimating program. The interior designer assists you with fixtures, cabinets, appliances, finish carpentry, paint colors, and more. Decisions and details are documented in the team room.


Budget, schedule, and ready to build

We get subcontractor and vendor bids based on your approved plans. At the conclusion of this phase, Solluna will propose a fixed-price construction contract. Once financing is finalized and a permit is obtained, we’re ready to begin construction on your project.
